Website analytics notice

This notice covers optional analytics on Firnity and the public marketing and documentation pages for Discord for Jira, Questions & Answers for Confluence, Discord for Confluence and NotiCord. Application services and third-party Marketplace pages have their own privacy notices.

Who is responsible and why we collect it

Łukasz Wiatrak, trading as Łukasz Wiatrak Firnity, is responsible for this website analytics. Contact: contact@firnity.com. We use it to understand which public pages and selected links are useful and how visitors reach them. We rely on your consent for this optional collection and browser storage. You can use these pages without allowing it.

What we collect

After you choose Allow analytics, PostHog's EU service receives public page paths without query strings or fragments, selected link actions and positions, destination classifications, referring website names, recognized campaign labels, event times, browser/device information, and random browser and session identifiers. We do not send form entries, page content, email addresses, sign-in details or customer workspace identifiers through this public tracker. We disable public session recordings and automatic capture of other clicks.

We use PostHog, Inc. as our analytics provider. See PostHog's privacy notice. A random identifier distinguishes consenting browsers; it does not make these records free of privacy obligations. IP addresses can be processed in network communications. We do not use them as visitor identifiers or enable IP-based location enrichment for this tracker.

Your choice and browser storage

Before permission, and after Reject, this optional public tracker remains off. A local preference remembers your choice; it is not a visitor identifier. If you allow analytics, origin-local browser storage remembers the random browser identifier and consented source observations. We do not share analytics cookies or browser identifiers across these websites or with the application sign-in flow.

Use Analytics settings in the footer of the page you are visiting to change your choice. Rejecting stops new public collection and clears this tracker's local identifiers and source context. It does not clear essential sign-in storage. Information collected before you changed your choice may still reach our analytics provider. Withdrawal does not affect collection that was lawful while your consent applied. You can clear browser site data to remove locally stored choices and identifiers.

Retention and requests

Our current PostHog plan applies no automatic event expiry. Clearing browser storage or rejecting future analytics does not by itself delete records already received by the provider. We review continued need for those records and handle deletion requests separately. Contact contact@firnity.com to ask about access, correction or erasure, or to withdraw a consent where the website control cannot be used. Identifying a relevant random-browser record may require information from the browser that made the choice; we do not match website records to an email or account to guess its identity. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, UODO.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change. A materially different optional collection purpose requires a new choice. This notice does not grant advertising permission or permission to connect a public browser to an application account.
